Description:
Backdoor.Gen is a generic detection for a backdoor trojan that is spread manually through security back-doors to allow outside attackers to access and control infected network computers. After installation it will download and copy random files into system32 folder, delete and corrupt dll's and activate processes like 9129837.exe in task manager and create a new Backdoor.Gen startup key in msconfig. The most common distribution methods include social networks, p2p network, misleading email links or infected attachments, malicious or corrupted website URLs.
